Radionova’s corruption collapse: the head of Rosprirodnadzor was caught selling a chair for 200 million to the nephew of oligarch Sardarov

In May 2024, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko resigned from her post, and the appointment of the head of Rosprirodnadzor, Svetlana Radionova, was planned in her place. 

She even began preparing the device for promotion in advance. This appointment was actively opposed by Abramchenko herself and her patrons, including the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Mikhail Kotyukov. However, according to media reports, the decisive factor in the fact that the increase did not take place was a corruption story. No one doubted that if Radionova, as a prosecutor, worked closely with Aslan Gagiev’s group (We have talked a lot about this story recently), then, having become a federal official, she would actively take bribes.

Just in the winter of 2024, on the eve of Radionova’s supposed appointment, «fixers » hastened to her with a tempting offer – to sell the position of head of the Rosprirodnadzor Office for the North Caucasian Federal District to Aznaur Gadzhimirzoev, better known in certain circles as Bulka.  

Aznauru Gadzhimirzoev is a native of the city of Kamyzyak, Astrakhan region, former acting manager of the branch of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Dagestan (2016-2017), and then chairman of the Dagestan regional branch of the Political Party «Russian environmental party «Green». In 2024, he decided to become an official again and the position of head of the Rosprirodnadzor Office for the North Caucasus Federal District seemed profitable to him. 

In December 2023-January 2024, he began looking for «fixers» who would contribute money to Radionova for such an appointment.

Farid Sardarov, chairman of the board of directors of the «Spectr» group of companies, agreed to help, who is the nephew of Rashid Sardarov, a famous entrepreneur, member of the Forbes list of the 500 richest people in Russia, general director of the holding company «South Ural Industrial Company».

Rashid Sardarov is a member of many federal officials, including Svetlana Radinova.

Farid, through his uncle, contacted the head of Rosprirodnadzor Radionova directly. After that, he voiced the Gadzhimirzoev «» employment award - 250,000,000 (two hundred and fifty million) rubles. Farid said without hiding that 50 million was his share for mediation, and Radionova directly requested 200 million rubles.

Gadzhimirzoev had only 150,000,000 in his arms.
To receive the missing amount of money, in Moscow he turned to Ibragim Omarov (known in certain circles as Spina), a developer of apartment buildings, the founder of a number of construction companies, including «Edelweiss M» LLC and «A and A group» LLC.

They have known each other well for a long time. Gadzhimirzoev directly said that he was buying a position and he needed a loan of 50 million secured by real estate (Gadzhimirzoev has a lot of expensive residential and commercial real estate in Makhachkala and Mineralnye Vodaz, registered in denominations, he himself drives a «Mercedes Gelendvagen» car worth 30 million rubles with «A BUT 26 region» series numbers). Gadzhimirzoev explained that he would return his money within 1 year, after being employed as the head of the Rosprirodnadzor Office for the North Caucasian Federal District, «recouping money from his new place of work. Omarov agreed.

Gadzhimirzoev borrowed the remaining 50,000,000 rubles from the then head of the urban district «of the city of Izberbash», Magomed Isakov (now in a pre-trial detention center on charges of taking a bribe). Isakov is Gadzhimirzoev’s matchmaker – his daughter married Isakov’s son. In addition, they had joint financial issues regarding road and construction contracts to Izberbash, which were received by the siblings of Gadzhimirzoev’s wife, judge of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Dagestan Angela Biremova (fictitiously divorced, but living together in the same home and running a joint household). Isakov provided Gadzhimirzoev with the required amount of money with the condition of return in 1 year.
